Hi Guys!

Well to start with, I’m Isabel, from Amsterdam and I am a bit of a fashion addicted. So that is why I started this blog! I’m studying Fashion & Branding in Amsterdam at the AMFI. But besides fashion, mostly streets wear, I love modern art, cooking, graphic design, typography and music (hiphop, drum ‘n bass and deep house). So that is where I will post about! I also love to travel around the world and to get inspired in different countries with other cultures. I hope you will like my blog, and if you have any questions or you just want to say something be free to e-mail me!

Why ‘Max Show’?

In Summer 2013 the Purple Fashion Magazine released a extra magazine with it, called The Max Show. I loved the photos in it, all black and with, lots of nude en really artistic. Since then I called my tumblr Max Show and it seems pretty logic to use it as my blog name. The Max Show sounds to dark a bit untouchable but energetic at the same time. It thought it would fit my blog style perfectly.

What is Fashion & Branding?

I get this question a lot! So I thought it would be useful to put it out there for everybody to read. Fashion and Branding is a study at AMFI (Amsterdam Fashion Institute). It’s about the creative marketing side of fashion. I learn about concepts, visuals, the impact of the visual culture we live in, Photoshop and illustrator skills, fashion history and business and marketing. It’s a really busy study, but it’s so great! I learn a lot, and the teacher are really inspiring (most of the time, of course!). I will make a page called AMFI, where I will post my work, so you guys have a visual with the story.
